A1.2 Intensive German Course Online

Learn German with us, online in our A1.2 Intensive German course (CEFR guidelines). Each sub-level, such as A1.2, takes 4 weeks to complete, the group then moves onto the next level together. Online classes feature around 5 – 10 participants.

What is so different about our intensive course? For those of us that need a little push and are really motivated, an intensive course is perfect. Other types of courses at DAS Akademie are held for shorter class lengths or just held a few days every week. Learning in high school or grade school is irregular and very inconsistent which leads to not fully knowing how to apply the knowledge of the German Language. This is exactly what we want to avoid with our intensive courses. Every Monday through Friday, they run for 2,5 hours.

A1.2 intensive German course content:

Just like our evening online course, our online Intensive German course is available for all the different levels. All the courses that we offer at DAS Akademie are structured in line with the Common European Reference Framework for Languages (CEFR). In our Intensive German course, you will be completing one level in only 4 weeks, regardless of the level you are completing (from A1.1 to C2.2).

Schedule for Live Sessions:

Smaller groups need less screen facing time per day to achieve the same great results within 4 weeks:

Groups of 6 to 10 students: Monday through Friday, 10:00 – 13:15 CET or CEST (Berlin time)
Groups of 4 to 5 students: Monday through Friday, 10:00 – 12:30 CET or CEST (Berlin time)

A1.2 Intensive German Course Features

Our online classes are held on zoom, a very high quality video-conferencing tool that has great education features. One of our teachers, highly experienced, will lead the live sessions on zoom where students will connect and interact with the teacher and each other. As a teaching method, we focus on communicating and it feels like being in a real classroom. The teacher will be sharing worksheets, give out assignments and follow up on progress.

How to register?

Please fill out the online application form to reserve a spot in the next course and we will send you the final registration form. In case all places are fully booked at the time we receive your application, we will place you on our waiting list and let you know as soon as the next course becomes available. This usually takes 2 to 4 weeks, but we also are able to open classes within 1 week. Our team will always organise a free placement test with a teacher in order to make sure that we assign you to the right level.
